A Network for the Businesses Behind Every Working Actor
Every actor relies on a small crowd of businesses: a coach, a headshot photographer, a reel editor, a few podcasts and blogs they trust. Those businesses serve the same people, yet most of them never talk to each other. Actor Partner exists to change that.
What it is
Actor Partner is a collaboration network for businesses and services in the acting industry, brought to you by Web For Actors. Members swap the things that are hard to get alone: an introduction to a new audience, a guest spot on a show, a mention in a newsletter, a discount their clients will actually use.
It is not a directory you pay to sit in. It is a group of people who have agreed to help each other reach actors, with clear ways to do it.
Who belongs here
The network is for reputable businesses whose customers are actors. That includes acting coaches and studios, headshot photographers, demo reel editors, casting workshops, podcasters, bloggers, social media creators who talk to actors, and anyone else whose work helps an actor book the job.
It is not for businesses that have nothing to do with acting, and it is not for anyone who has been reported as defrauding actors. Every request is reviewed before an invitation goes out.
Why it is invite only
A collaboration network is only as good as the people in it. If anyone could join, members would spend their time filtering pitches instead of working together. Keeping registration to invited businesses means that when another member reaches out, you already know they serve the same audience you do and have been looked at by a person.
If you have been invited, you will have a six-character code. Enter it on the Actor Partner home page and the form fills in what we already know about you.
What members actually do together
There are nine ways to collaborate, from guest blog posts to podcast interviews. When you register, you tick which ones you can offer and which ones you are looking for. That is what lets two members find a fair trade quickly. Each of the nine is covered in Nine Ways Businesses That Serve Actors Can Work Together.
Members can also refer actors to Web For Actors and earn a recurring commission on the ones who sign up. The printed Actor Partner QR business cards make that as simple as handing someone a card.
How to get in
If you run a business that serves actors and you do not have a code yet, use the Request an Invitation button on the home page and tell us what you do. A short note about your audience helps us answer faster.
